History

Dave and Darla D'Ambro founded Vadar Associates, Inc. in the spring of 1993.  The couple combined their names and began operations under the name Vadar on the family's farm in upstate New York. 

With Darla handling the financial side of the business, and Dave the manufacturing side, the company quickly outgrew the family's barn.  In 1996 Vadar purchased a former church building in the village of Schaghticoke New York.   Built in 1874, the church was lit with four light bulbs and heated with a coal furnace.  After an extensive rehabilitation, Vadar  Associates, Inc.  took up residence in the summer of 1996.
